  Conviently located on Beverley Road (a major arterial route into Hull), the Cross Keys is a popular Tudor style pub with a bar and lounge rooms. In the bar are several large screen TVs for sporting events accompanied by a pool table and darts board, while the lounge is where the excellent food is served during the day, and live music performed on weekends. The Sunday roasts are fantastic and there's a good choice of other dishes too. Rooms are available at very reasonable rates, although tend to be used by visiting contractors. As well as live music and sporting events, there are quizzes held on both Sunday and Tuesday nights. A great friendly pub with excellent food, especially on a Sunday, when you'll be better booking in advance.

  This is one of the hidden gems of Hull. This is not a chain pub, its a family run business. The food is hot, well priced and the service is excellent. I would advise booking though as its reputation grows it is getting busier. I recently booked there for a group of 20, this was no problem and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, with excellent food. I would recommend the sizzling gammon or any of the sizzling dishes. ( watch the plates tho they are hotter than lava). There is a pool table in the lounge and televisions in both rooms ( in case the football is on). I dont think you will be disappointed. We are so impressed we will be returning every three weeks. Thankyou Cross keys.
