  Only a few real ales (and they had run out of some of those). The service was horrendously slow and the food was average, at best. Not sure what is going on with the decor either; it's a beutiful old building, so why you would decide to paint it purple (both inside and out) is beyond me.

  Had a lovely carvery last night. I had turkey ham and beef. My husband just had the turkey. All were cooked beautifully. There were every vegetable you could imagine. Cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed our meal. The chef that cut the meat for us was very pleasant. It was very good value for money. Will be going again very soon.
